The site has had a few issues over the past couple of days, one of the key issues seems to be theme I've been using. I have been developing a new over the last month or so. Although I'm not happy with it yet, I've put it up as the site seems to work better with it. For those interested, the new banner is the view to the north of the Pesquera bodega in Ribera del Duero.
The sidebars seem to be moving around when looking at single posts and page references are still a bit screwed, but mostly the site is working OK. Let me know if you find any bugs and bear with me while I get it right over the next couple of days.
Looks familiar, I struggled with it too, if you need any tips, feel free to email me! I guess it’s “new look” time of the year for everyone! Congrats and look forward to the end result…
Still working out how to get pages listed with an extract, so you’ll be getting an email!
18 months with the same theme, it was time for a change. Something lighter…
Like the new look and am building up courage for another theme change myself - perhaps at christmas when I have lots of spare time.
Looks great mate.
So this is what you do with your week off!!
Looks smart, clean and very very professional. I miss the good old rustic brown colour though, it somehow made me think of Rioja straight away. But alas, as Spanish wine itself you’ve cleaned it all up. Well done.
Thanks guys. I find the site reads a lot better now.
I spent most of week off eating around town when I should have been finishing off the site! Oh well plenty of time to get it sorted…
The brown almost made a comeback, it may still yet!
Dave,
I like the new look blog - bright and clean. Where is the header photo from?
The photo is looking north from the Pesquera bodega in Ribera del Duero. There was a snow storm about 20 mintues before the photo was taken.
The thing I like about it is that it shows a different side of Spain, rather than the normal image of hot, dry and packed full of flamenco dancers!
